Discover which program suits your child best by reading the descriptions below.

Ballet – Level III

Ballet is arguably the most complex and beautiful of all dance styles. Students will learn proper ballet technique in an encouraging and age-appropriate environment.

Lyrical/Jazz – Level III with Level IV

Lyrical stems from both ballet and jazz technique. Because of this, students enrolled in Lyrical must also be enrolled in Ballet.

Tap – Level III with Level IV

Tap is the American dance style! Focusing on rhythm, tap dancers actually make music with their feet. (Tap is a personal favorite at Dawsonville Dance!)

Hip-Hop – Level III with Level IV

This program is a wonderful class for new students with lots of energy! With clean, family-friendly moves and music, your child will have a blast in this high energy program all while being physically active, mentally engaged, and artistically creative.

Performance Team

In addition to regular dance programs, students enrolled in Levels II, III, and IV are eligible for the Dawsonville Dance Performance Team! This team is for students who wish to have additional performance opportunities in the community outside of our two annual theater shows. Learn more.

Dawsonville Dance is happy to provide quality dance instruction in a wholesome environment for the children of Dawson County, North Cumming, Dahlonega.

“We just finished up our first season at Dawsonville Dance, I wasn’t sure how Brinkley would do at first because she is typically very shy when you first meet her. But right away she took to Mrs. Mary. She had a wonderful time and loved Mondays because it was ballet day. Mrs. Mary is very kind and attentive to the students and the classes are small enough to not get out of control. We were very pleased with our season at Dawsonville Dance.”
